HTC India has launched a new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS enabled smartphone called the HD Mini in India. The new Mini seems to be the sibling of the HTC HD2 phone.
HTC had announced the HD Mini at Mobile World Congress 2010 in February. The set looks like Sony Ericsson's X10 Mini and Nokia's N97 Mini and incorporates many features.
This Windows Mobile based touchscreen phone boasts of many features including a 3.2-inch capacitive HVGA display, HTC Sense user interface and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS. The set also provides good social networking services and features 3G, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS chip along with HTC Footprints app.
Apart from that, the HD Mini proffers a nice platform for internet browsing due to Opera Mobile and also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g for mobile Internet service. There is also enough storage capacity of up to 32GB because of its microSD 2.0 memory card. This quad-band GSM phone is also a nice piece as it has 5MP camera with autofocus that offers widescreen photo capture ability and 3.5mm audio jack for music buffs.
HTC HD Mini can offer up to 7.25 hours of talk time, music playback for up to 12 hours and video play back for up to 8 hours. The set is available in India for Rs. 23,490.
